Sébastien Théberge’s career spans fifteen years, including ten years in the political, governmental and legislative circles in Ottawa.

 

After having served two Members of Parliament, he joined the Prime Minister’s Office as a Special Advisor and French Writer. He then joined the Office of the Minister for International Trade and Foreign Affairs as Director of Communications for six years. As such, he has witnessed and played a particular role during turbulent times of globalization and international geopolitical affairs.

 

He joined the private sector in 2005. After having directed two successful exhibitions of BodyWorlds from Germany, he moved to Vancouver in the summer of 2008 to join the Vancouver headquarters team of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics Games Organizing Committee (VANOC) where he served as media relations manager and spokesperson.

 

His extensive experience in national and international issues management provide him with a diversified expertise in communication strategies adapted for modern market realities as well as in areas of sustainability, corporate social responsibility and reputation management.

 

Sébastien is a guest teacher at Université Laval (College of Business Administrators) where he shares his experience with future administrators and CEOs in crisis management and reputational risk management.

 

He holds a B.Sc.Soc (Political Science) from the University of Ottawa, is perfectly bilingual and also speaks some Spanish. His passion for travel and professional assignments brought him to every corner on the world.
